About the client:
The client is a highly reputable CMO and growth hacking expert, based in London. He works with startups and established corporations, boasting an incredible portfolio of success.
Authority and presence.
The CMO wanted to build an authoritative presence, and develop a reputation as a thought-leader. This meant the consistent publication of high-quality content, featured in the most impactful places. We created long-form articles for the client's website, and used these as the basis for offsite placements and social content. These articles have been featured on leading digital industry blogs and startup growth websites.
Backlinks and organic traffic.
The CMO wanted to build backlinks and increase organic search traffic to his consultancy website. In partnership with an outreach team, KYO acquired backlinks from leading websites such as The Telegraph, Forbes, and Yahoo. We also contributed to dozens of industry-specific blogs on the CMO's behalf.
The website's domain authority (DA) increased from 20 to 36 between May 2016 and October 2017, and has continued this trajectory thereafter.
We identified LinkedIn as the most likely source of leads, and the most pertinent distribution channel for content. We supported the client's social activity boost with high-quality content, and maximised his reach by using LinkedIn's own blogging platform, Pulse. The CMO saw a dramatic increase in connections, which ultimately led to new business opportunities.
